I love photos of grandparents. I don't know what it is, but there is just something so beautiful to me about someone who has lived a long life. I think part of it for me is that so many older people don't let me take their picture--they feel younger than they look and they just don't like pictures of themselves. But what they don't understand is how much their children and especially grandchildren love that "old" face.
Granddaughter Sara wanted a four generation picture with her grandma while she was in Salt Lake visiting family. I am just crazy about these pictures because from adorable baby Ava to sassy Grandpa there is such beauty. Plus there is a bond of family that is forever.

I LOVE these!! The grandma looks so beautiful and elegant. :)
I think these are some of the BEST pictures you've ever taken. They are just so full of personality. Gotta love the Grandpa's peace sign! Love it!
Grandpa's peace sign is legendary at our house! Thanks again...and again...and again. Jim and Lalah are the two of my favorite people and these pictures mean the world to me and my family. They are awesome!
Wow. These choked me up a bit. Maybe it's because my grandparents are no longer with me. Maybe it's because I have 4 generation pictures with Gma B and Mason. Maybe it was the turquoise jewelry that reminds me of my gma on one side and gpa on the other. Or maybe, just maybe, it's the amazing photographer who was able to catch love and life...and stop time. These rank in my favorites.
