OLIVIA & RYAN

Ryan's sister is a very talented photographer who said that she would take all of the wedding pictures except for the reception, because she just wanted to be a guest. Ryan gave her a list of photographers that he found and she told him to hire me. I was very flattered because any time another photographer thinks highly of your work it is always a very nice compliment.

Coming into this reception, not knowing anyone really could have been very daunting. But this family was lovely and warm from the start. It was a terribly snowy and icy night on the roads, but the guests kept rolling in. After I got to know them, it was no surprise to me that these families would have many who would want to wish them well on such a night. I had a delightful time. Thanks Olivia and Ryan for having me out to Bountiful. Even though I got lost again on my way there (Bountiful, curses to you and Google Maps for getting me lost), I had a great time.

I love all the black and white pattern on the post, refreshment girl's skirt and that adorable baby's dress. Cool detail!

I may be weird, but the last one, black and white with the lamp post is my favorite. Photography is my favorite visual art medium. I LOVE that my friend is such an artist.

They look fantastic! You did a great job with the details and candids. Can't wait to see the rest of them. I'm so glad I told him to hire you! :)
